ACP and the American Library in Paris

Please join us at the Library with Director Audrey Chapius.

The American Library is a vital part of the American community in Paris, and is celebrating its 100th year! The Library offers a rich range of intellectual, cultural, literary, and family offerings, and we are happy to work together to strengthen our sense of community in Paris.

Ms. Chapius will speak to us about the Library's history, its changing demographics, and the future of libraries in the digital age.

Wine and refreshments will be served.

Monday, March 4th

6:30pm-8:30pm

Audrey Chapuis began her tenure as Library Director in September 2018. She brings close to twenty years of library experience to the institution, including posts at Widener Library in the Harvard College Library system and the Pritzker Legal Research Center at the Northwestern University School of Law, where she was head of the Access Services department for seven years. A native of Austin, Texas and a longtime resident of Chicago, she moved to Paris in 2014 with her husband, Patrick Chapuis.

Chairman of the Board of Trustees Luis Roth says, “Audrey brings tremendous energy, dedication, and experience to her new role, and I am confident that the Library will flourish further under her leadership.”
