Ceramics Workshop with Brazilian artist Ana Bravo

Join us for a delightful two-hour introductory workshop with passionate ceramics expert Ana Bravo as she guides us through the world of artistic expression with clay as its medium.
Listen as Ana shares her expertise on various ceramic modeling techniques, types of clay, and the intricate firing process. With her guidance, gain a comprehensive understanding of the creative journey before delving into your own stoneware creation. Under Ana's expert supervision, you'll begin by crafting a bowl, mastering the art of the so-called "pinching technique". After, participants will have the opportunity to create 1-2 more pieces with guidance.
Your crafted vessels will undergo a meticulous process at Ana's studio, including slow drying, glazing, and two firings, all aimed at perfecting your creations. Your finished pottery pieces will be available for pick up on Tuesday, November 28th at a to be announced member meet-up location in Paris. If you are not available to pick them up on that day, a member of our Executive Committee will hold them for you for a later date.
